Many companies do not only have the requirement to automate the creation of business documents, they also have a variety of document types, data input sources and output target destinations they need to address. Not all documents come necessarily from one single application - multiple applications may deliver different data structures. Some may require interactive document creation, others purely automated batch processing. Some processes may require direct interaction for their release to the destination device. Some documents may require management approval before they can be released. All of these needs are addressed by the DLA Process Manager module.

The DLA Process Manager can be used to manager the "work-flow" for the processing of a document that has been created in the DCS Document Composition System. The steps that a document take to final release and production are defined in the DLA Process Manager and users see the jobs that they are required to process and release to the next stage via the GUI interface.
